The Dayton Police Department is a full service department,
which consists of 5 full-time police officers and 5 part-time officers and is headed by the Police Chief.
The Police Chief also serves as the Emergency Management Director. The Police Department is
located within the Dayton City Hall Municipal Complex. The Hennepin County
Sheriff's Department also assists the Dayton Police Department as needed.
Anyone wishing to contact an officer regarding any Police matter, emergency or
non emergency call 911.
