To serve the citizens of Dayton by providing plan review and inspection services to safeguard life, health, property and public welfare by enforcing the minimum requirements of the Dayton City Code and the Minnesota State Building Code.
The City of Dayton contracts with Metro West Inspection Services, Inc. to provide general services related to building and site inspections per Minnesota State Building Code. Several of their staff members serve Dayton on a daily basis providing professional inspections and plan review services.
It is the mission of the building inspection services division to provide plan review and inspection services to safeguard life, health, property and public welfare by enforcing the minimum requirements of the Dayton City Code and the Minnesota State Building Code.
