ANIMAL COMPLAINTS

    The City of Dayton currently has and ordinance in effect regarding animals (City Ordinance 502.01 subd. 7).  Included in this ordinance is the "leash law" or animal at large section.  Anyone wishing to view a copy of this ordinance can contact City Hall.  This ordinance is enforced by the Dayton Police Department and violators may be cited.

    If you have a complaint regarding another residents animal at large, you can call 911 for an officer to call you back or you can print off the animal complaint form in the forms section, fill it out completely and sign at the bottom, and return it to:
