Sewage, if not handled properly, can be dangerous to the health of our residents. Without a working septic system, this material can wash through the soil into groundwater supplies and later be pumped to the surface via wells that are intended to bring water for personal use. The septic maintenance program established by the City attempts to extend the life of existing systems by assuring that proper maintenance is being performed. Please have your septic inspector complete the required septic inspection/pumping card after each pumping and/or inspection and return to City Hall so we can update our records. Septic pumping cards can be obtained at City Hall. The Minnesota Pollution Control Agency provides a list of licensed septic pumpers. If you have any questions, please contact City Hall, at 763-427-4589.
