NE Dayton Areas 1-6 Street and Utility Improvements

Area 1 & 2 - Contract 1- LaTour Construction, Inc

·         Construction for the day

-        Latour will be installing trunk sanitary sewer along 134 ½ Ave. They will continue to the east on 134 ½ Ave.

-        They will also have a utility crew working on installing watermain on Evergreen Lane north of South Diamond Lake Road.

-        North Pine will work to grade Balsam Lane between South Diamond Lake Road and Dayton River Road and continue to haul in Class 5.

Area 3, 4 & 6 – Contract 2 – S.R. Weidema

·         Construction for the day

-        Weidema will have a utility crew working installing sanitary sewer on North Diamond Lake Road at the intersection of Vinewood Lane. They will work towards the west.

-        They will also have a utility crew working on Pineview Lane south of South Diamond Lake Road. Traffic will be flagged in this area and they will keep one lane of traffic open at all times.

-        A road crew will be working on South Diamond Lake Road and Vinewood Lane working on cutting out the ditches.

-        Another road crew will work at the intersection of Pineview Lane and South Diamond Lake Road preparing the grade for curb and gutter installation.

-        The erosion control crew will be out to repair and install new silt fence.

-        Another crew will be working on testing sanitary sewer on South Diamond Lake Road.

 

Area 5 – Contract 3 – Kuechle Underground

·         Construction for the day  

-        Curb and gutter installation will continue on the remaining streets without curb.

-        Fehn will be grading around finished driveways and boulevards in preparation for hydroseeding.

-        Kuechle will be installing mailboxes on curbed streets.
