NE Dayton Areas 1-6 Street and Utility Improvements

Area 1 & 2 - Contract 1- LaTour Construction, Inc

·         Construction for the day

-        North Pine will be grading the sand on Balsam Lane and getting it ready to haul in Class 5 Aggregate.

-        Latour will have on utility crew installing trunk sanitary sewer in the easement area towards Evergreen Lane. Later in the morning the contractor will be going through 134th Ave. The road will be closed for the rest of the day. Arrowood Lane and Evergreen Lane will be open for access to South Diamond Lake Road.

-        There will also be a utility crew installing storm sewer to the City pond on the south side of South Diamond Lake Road. This work will close South Diamond Lake Road between Balsam Lane  and Evergreen Lane. Residents should follow the detour around to Pineview Lane and come in from the west on South Diamond Lake Road.

-        Once the storm sewer is installed the utility crew will install services on Evergreen Lane to the north of South Diamond Lake ROad

Area 3, 4 & 6 – Contract 2 – S.R. Weidema

·         Construction for the day

-        S. R Weidema will have a utility crew installing water main on South Diamond Lake Road between Vinewood Lane and the west end of the project.

-        They will also have a utility crew installing water main at the intersection of Pineview Lane and South Diamond Lake Road. They will have one lane of traffic through the intersection and they will have crew members directing traffic.

-        They will also have a crew on South Diamond Lake Road working on utility testing.

-        The road crew will start cutting out the road on South Diamond Lake Road if it is dry enough.

-        There will also be a crew working on preparing the driveways on Noon Drive and Jonquil Lane for concrete.

-        There will also be a crew working on removing driveways and cleaning up driveway access on 139th Ave.

-        Residents on Vinewood Lane and 139th Ave will be able to exit Vinewood Lane either to the North or the South

-        Residents on South Diamond Lake Road between Vinewood and the west of the project should contact myself or the contractor if they need assistance accessing there homes.

 

 

Area 5 – Contract 3 – Kuechle Underground

·        Construction for the day  

-        Kuechle will be installing concrete driveways on the streets where the curb and gutter has been installed.

-        These streets will also be prepared for seeding. The seed will be installed later this week.

-        Mail box installation will continue on these streets.

-        On the streets where curb and gutter is not installed, Kuechle will be preparing them for curb and gutter installation. This will be dependent on the weather.
