NE Dayton Contract 2, Area 3, 4, and 6 Street and Utility Improvements

• Curb and Gutter installation will begin on Thursday, October 4, 2007 for Vinewood Lane and 139^th Ave, providing the weather does not delay the crew. Please pay special attention to the information below, as it will be critical to installing the curb in a timely matter.

general project information:

· Beginning on Thursday morning at 7:00 am, curb crews will be placing a string line on the outside edge of the street and across your driveway for the curb machine to follow.

· In order for this to be accomplished, all vehicles that you will want to use for the following WEEK must be parked on the EAST side of Vinewood Lane on THURSDAY before 7:00 am. After the curb is installed on the west side of the street they will continue to 139^th Ave and head back on the east side of Vinewood Lane. The residents on 139^th Ave are going to be asked to park north of 139^th Ave on Vinewood Lane. If you live on Vinewood Lane a are not able to move your car to the other side of the road during the day please park your car north of 139^th Ave on Vinewood Lane.

· After the curb is placed you will need to continue to park in the street in front of your house, because you can not drive over the curb for a period of 5 DAYS. (Thursday pour= Tuesday drive over)

· After the 5 day period the contractor will come back and fill up the area between your driveway and the curb, when it is ok to drive over the curb.

· We do realize this is a significant inconvenience to you, and we ask for your patience, this is one of the final steps in the construction process.
