Community Survey Results

The City of Dayton conducted a community survey in the spring of 2007 in order to identify our residents' needs, issues of concern, and perceptions of our community and local government. The results are being utilized to help create the City of Dayton 2030 Comprehensive Plan.

The City of Dayton sent surveys via mail to each household in the community resulting in over 1500 surveys being sent out.  Each survey contained the two sections.  The first section was questions relating to the community, the second section contained neighborhood specific questions.  Neighborhoods were determined by their geographic location within the city (Neighborhood Map Link in Sidebar).

 Twenty-three percent of surveys sent out were returned.  The breakdown of returned surveys is below.
